Nowadays there are many changes in Russia Legislation. Today the applicant (producer) has a choice – carrying out the conformity assurance to GOST R or TR.

A new type of Russian Certificate called «Certificate TR» is a certificate of approval to the technical requirements.

Certification of the shot proof equipment is carried out within the limits of certification in system of GOST R

The shot proof equipment intended for explosive environments (the Ex-equipment, the system — an item which is in full or in part applied to use of electric energy and including one or more kinds of shot proof components for conditions, potentially explosive gas environment) is liable to obligatory certification.

The permission for appliance of certain sorts of devices usable at dangerous industrial objects (the permission of Rostechnadzor) is a document that officially resolves equipment application at industrial objects in various industries. The issue of the permissions is realized by territorial bodies of Rostechnadzor and its central body. The permission of Rostechnadzor for the equipment application is issued both on separate devices, and on sorts of technical devices if in all of them the uniform designer approach, used materials and technologies are observed.

The first version developed by the International Organization for Standardization (International Organization for Standardization — ISO) in 1987. The current series of standards was published in December 2000 (ISO 9001:2000).
