Procedure of Gost R certification

First of all it depends on what kind product you are planning to supply. There are 16 mandatory certification systems regulated by Laws of the Russian Federation and over 500 voluntary ones.

Nowadays Gost R documents of conformity is the most common permissive document in Russia testifying that your product meets necessary safety standards.

However, your production may need in receiving other permits, certificates, licenses and etc. For example, children’s toys need to obtain Hygiene Certificate, door need to obtain Fire safety certificate and etc.

These include but are not limited to:

• Certificate of conformity to GOST-R;
• Declaration of Conformity GOST R for some consumer goods and industrial instrumentation;
• GOST R Ex-Proof Certificate for explosion-proof equipment and materials;
• Refusal letter from VNIIS (All-Russia Scientific Research Institute for Certification) and Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
• Fire safety certificate;
• Hygiene Certificate of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (The sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion)
• Permission from Federal Service for Supervision of Environment, Technology, and Nuclear Management (Rostekhnadzor);
• Certificate (ISO 9001:2008);
• etc.

For this kind of certification the appliance will define the necessary parameters for testing production. This certificate guarantee the quality of the production, support image of a company and create positive attitude to product.
